Inspired by Mughal paintings and contemporary depictions of dancers, this character demonstrates organic and hard surface modeling techniques.
For the sake of demonstration, all assets of the jewelry were modeled individually.
Of course, given the intricate design, displacement/normal maps could also be used to create a very convincing result.

No… I haven’t konked off as yet. Plenty of work in progress… only difference is in the posting schedule this year. Lots of updates coming soon… but not till they are a bit beyond Works in Progress. I have realized that the minute i post something on here.. i pretty much leave it in the middle and move on to the next thing… so NO! As tempting as it may be… I am not posting till the end of this month. :S
